Hotel Dos Mares is a boutique hospitality project located in El Cuyo, a small coastal town within the Río Lagartos Biosphere Reserve on the Yucatán Peninsula. Conceived by Roberto Carli, the project integrates contemporary architectural language with the relaxed character of the destination.

The hotel features 22 guest rooms designed with natural materials and neutral tones, creating calm interior environments that connect with the surrounding landscape. Large windows and private terraces enhance natural light and ventilation, while some rooms incorporate private plunge pools and views toward the sea.  

A defining architectural element of the project is the rooftop terrace, which concentrates the social program of the hotel. The space includes a swimming pool, bar, and restaurant, offering panoramic views of the sea, lagoon, and surrounding vegetation.  

Through careful spatial organization, material selection, and construction management, the project reflects a balance between modern hospitality design and the natural identity of El Cuyo, creating a boutique hotel experience that emphasizes comfort, simplicity, and connection to place.
